Hi, there! I'm Falan. My first experience of yoga occurred at 15 years old when I purchased myself a yoga DVD with a birthday gift card, convinced my older sister to try it out with me, and then laughed hysterically as we tried to do the suggested breath work and poses. Little did I know that 7 years later I would once again try my hand at yoga and fall in love with it. I completed my Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in 2007 (RYT 200+). I aim to teach with simplicity and a humble heart, guiding students to trust themselves and their bodies. I place a strong emphasis on breath, try to make yoga accessible for all, and enjoy sharing the beautiful impact yoga can have in helping people take better care of themselves and feel better in their bodies. I hope to see you in class!
I'm Coach KC a Certified Functional Strength Coach for lifestyles wellness and spa. I'm blessed to be the 828 Functional Training coach along with one on one training in this facility. I've been in this industry for over 7 years now and a Certified coach for almost 1 year. I've seen many walks of life benefit from exercise and proper meal placement throughout the years including myself. I love to teach because I get to encourage others to be the best they can be in that moment even when they dont believe it themselves. It took only one person to encourage me into this lifestyle change and I want to honor that person by helping others change for themselves and their family. Kenneth was born and raised in Rutherford County, NC. He is pursuing an MA in Organizational Leadership at Gardner-Webb University. He retired in Feb. 2017 as a Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy, While on active duty, he served as the VBSS (Visit Board, Search and Seizure) Team Leader and Boarding Officer in two warships -- The USS LASSEN and the USS WINSTIN S CHURCHILL. The VBSS team is a military maritime force designed to capture enemy vessels, combat terrorism, piracy and smuggling. During this time Kenneth became very involved in fitness and served as the Command Fitness leader for multiple commands. Running the command Fitness Enhancement Programs (FEP), Kenneth helped hundreds of sailors reach the standard necessary to remain on active duty.
